X3.T. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}2/KT. May 26th 1933. Donald Sessions & Co. Ltd., 906 Harrow Road, Willesden, London. N.W.10. For the attention of Mr. Donald Sessions. Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter of the 25th inst. We note that you are sending us a set of jacks of a lighter type which you hope will be suitable for the 20/25 HP. car. We will let you know in due course what we think of them. With regard to the set of jacks for the 40/50 HP. giving a quicker lift (which you left with us when you paid us a visit recently) we have come to the conclusion, after having used them for some considerable time, that the effort required to raise the car is much too great. We find constantly that our men use the ordinary screw jack in preference to the D.W.S. on this particular car, and having personally investigated the reason, I find that they are justified. In consequence we could not use this particular type of jack on our large model. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
