Re: CHASSIS 2486 with PLAIN STEERING THRUST X457 AND SLOW PITCH WORM.
In reply to your note WOT/SMS/C23/D13 ref the above chassis, the original instruction came from Mr Johnson who says that the matter is "most serious and important". I had hoped to have experimental confirmation of the utility of these devices, but in its absence & in view of the urgency of the matter & Mr Johnson's remarks, am compelled to proceed without it. I have however, asked Mr Royce to confirm if his last drawings have been in the works hands some weeks. I have myself urged the experiment more than once, so I think there should be some pieces about either finished or nearly so.
