RE "GOSHAWK II" OVER-OILING.

We send you herewith drawing No.Lec.1484 showing the baffle or oil splasher improved. This drawing cancels Lec.1483.

Lec.1484 also shows the piston skirt lengthened to suit the scraper ring piston.

Instructions have already been sent to you regarding the modifications to oil holes and grooves, and oil feeds. Mr. Royce desires not to use the scraper ring piston unless we are forced to by the other measures we are taking failing to have sufficient effect.
