To Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ.

BJ2/H25.7.23.

PETROL TANK.

At the Works Derby Conference on the 21st September, 1922, a minute was made as follows:-

"Reserve tank for petrol indicator.
Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to fit up a tank like the Hupmobile and report on same. This question to be brought up again after we have had more experience on Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))."

Please let me know what was done about this, and what is being done in regard to having a reserve of petrol in the tank on the Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) and the 40/50 h.p.
