Dear Sirs:
X 4342 S.

Re Dynamo & Motor for "Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))".

With reference to the small dynamo and motor which you have in preparation for us made up as nearly as possible in accordance with our requirements mechanically and electrically for the "Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))", as it has been decided that the system for which these machines are intended experimentally will be entirely an earthed electrical system, we would like you to tell us, without actually asking you to do this on these two machines, if it would entail a serious amount of modification to make these machines entirely suitable for the earthed system.

Yours faithfully,
