To Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re P.III. Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 3/E20.4.36

I was rather surprised to see from Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1/KW.9.4.36 that the car tested at Brooklands was fitted with a cut-out. I should be interested to know the reason for this as, in view of the fact that we discontinued cut-outs on the P.II, I was quite unaware that we were fitting them on P.III's.
