I attach hereto copy of Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 1/NJ29.1.24 announcing to all concerned the decision of the Exe(Aero Engine)cutive regarding the issue of orders. In consequence of the 7 days grace allowed for the issue of certain orders after issue of a requisition, it will be necessary for Works (Sft {Mr Swift} ) and Stores (Chat) to issue requisitions for general supplies for Works 7 days earlier than hitherto. This includes requisitions entered in Stores books, as well as all other requisitions relating to general stores for Works. Requisitions which are considered by the Department concerned to be urgent must be so marked on the face before they are sent to me.
