X.3749. REPORT OF VISIT TO MESSRS LUCAS - JULY 11th 1921

GOSHAWK(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) STARTER MOTOR. X.4342L.
This was discussed at some length. Messrs. Lucas asked us if we had considered the question of existing patents effecting our design of drive.
As far as they are concerned the design appears to be well in hand, and we are now awaiting the drawing of their portion of the shaft, together with several dimensions on a blue print which we have sent them of the driving end shield and an outline of their part of the machine to enable us to complete our drawings.

GOSHAWK(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) SWITCHBOX. X.4081
They mentioned that this would be similar to the revised 40/50 pattern.
