The screws work loose periodically.

The fixing for the rear folding hood is inadequate, quickly wears, and the hood framework rattles badly.

The doors are excessively thick and heavy.

All wings gave little trouble with exception of damage to paintwork due to stones flung up from the wheels.

Insufficient rear wheel arch clearance.

CABRIOLET BODY ON PHANTOM 11 CHASSIS 19-EX.

The windows on this car rattle very badly, they are with framed windows, the wood strips (velvet faced) fixed to the frames. The wood strips are continually coming loose. The near side driver's window rattles very badly.

The doors are exceptionally heavy and thick and have developed rattles. The front doors have pulled their check strap securing the screws out of the door pillar.

The winding gear for the rear seats was done away with because it made the seats too high.

The window winder handles and door lock inner operating levers rattle generally. (Window winder handle rattles is a general complaint on all cars.)

The type of catch used to fasten the driver's hood extension to the windscreen is not very effective. We have had to let out the adjustment of these to their limit, and even now they do not hold the hood firmly, they are loose and rattle.

We do not like the driver's extension, it drums very badly in a wind, and acts as a very good sounding board emphasising chassis booms etc.

The wings on this car have given no trouble with the exception of damaged paintwork due to flying stones.
