| To Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4222 BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /Shn4/DB. {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 14.2.23. RECEIVED FEB 1923 X.4222 - SPRING DRIVE. (NOW SERRATED). With reference to the half Fan Pulley Rim pressings E.52475, we suggest these should be permenently rivetted together before trimming out the groove, by 5 - .125 dia: c's'k steel rivets on a 3.450 pitch circle. We should like your views on this suggestion, as it affects the Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) II Spring Drive on LeC.1665, and the Seagull(Experimental EAC.1 aka Export chassis, Phantom I engine) one shown on LeC.1670.
