The Lodge Sparking Plug Co. Ltd.,
Rugby.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. A. {Mr Adams} Lodge.

We are returning the rest of the KR4 plugs.
You will notice that on three more of these plugs, the nickel points have become loose. It appears as though the brazing which fixes these points, deteriorates after a number of hours running. Except for the points dropping out, we have had no trouble with these plugs.

We have received a further 2 doz. KR4 plugs. We notice on these that the brass nut which retains the mica washers is not locked. We are locking them ourselves before they are run.

The KR5 plugs with the steel electrodes have been run on a standard engine for 2 or 3 hours; so far they are very good. They are certainly an improvement over the KR3 as they will not stand bench test running even for a few minutes.

Yours faithfully,
