Me.

D {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} /AWS9/B16-12-25.

We give below copy of memo. received from Cr. {Mr Cra’ster / Mr Chichester} reference Cr {Mr Cra’ster / Mr Chichester} 1/IN/15-12-25, and should be glad if you would kindly let us have your remarks as early as possible so that we can pass same on to Cr. {Mr Cra’ster / Mr Chichester} for his information:-

"Mr. R.G. Taylor has recently bought this "car secondhand, and is having trouble with "squeaking brakes.

"The squeaks apparently come from the shoes "and not from the controls.

"I expect to be able to call one day next "week and go into this and other matters, and "shall be glad if in the meantime W. will "kindly advise me on this matter.

"I have not come across this squeaking on "40/50 brakes before, except curiously enough "just recently on the Trials Car, which I am "using, i.e. 50-LK. {L. King} In the latter case the "squeak comes and goes in the most puzzling "manner.
