Experimental Cars. -2-

Chassis 58NA {Mr Nadin} is fitted with several important experiments, including the Self-Starter, and should not therefore be disposed of.

Chassis 49GB, this is nearing completion and has recently been run on the road although other parts are yet to be fitted to it. It has not at present many experimental parts fitted to same but it has the Northcliffe gear box adapted to present series chassis.

We would like your decision as to whether you think under the circumstances it is advisable to sell one of our experimental cars as we understand very good prices can now be obtained for these.

Mr Haldenby was of the opinion that 7CA might be sold as soon as 49GB is got running.

If you think there will not be a great deal of experimental work coming through in the near future (at present the work is mostly dealing with engines) we might dispose of a second car but this would handicap us if a great deal of experimental testing was suddenly required.

We are at a loss to know which car
