Re P & R TBD7-10 Battery (158)

No.6 cell (+) has failed by shorting in this battery.

The battery has been in the E.M.S. all its life and is now over three years' old. This cell has probably failed by the positive plates stretching and shorting on the negative bar as in the case of the cells from S1 and SY batteries, as reported in JC.109, 27.6.28.

The cell has not been opened up for examination.
