LUCAS WINDSCREEN WIPER
With reference to your complaint that the Lucas windscreen wiper fitted to 18-GIV did not wipe the screen fast enough, we quote you the remarks received from Messrs. Lucas in reply to our suggestion that the speed of the wiper should be increased :-
"With regard to the suggestion that the speed of the wiper should be increased somewhat. Actually in the sample you had, the speed was approx. 28 cycles per minute and we should not ourselves put up the speed above this. It could, of course, be increased somewhat, the windings of the motor would have to be altered but we ourselves should consider the above figure quite high enough".
