We understand that following a conversation with Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} you arranged for the "Mellotone" horns to be fitted below the front apron on this chassis, whereas on Mr. Mays' earlier chassis, No.B-24.GA, they were mounted below the headlights.

Will you tell us why you preferred fitting them below the apron please?.

We have recently had a note from BY advising against this position for horns because of the risk of them picking up water if the car runs through a flooded section of the road and causing trouble with the electrical equipment.

Incidentally Mr. Mays expects to have the standard horns on top of the apron as well as the "Mellotones" and we propose, if you see no objection, to arrange for the latter to be transferred to below the headlights.
