| PER BAG. 261(2) W/S. Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}6/R.30.12.3 RAYMOND MAYS - B.144.LS. With regard to your memo Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}18/AH.29.12.37., about Mellotone horns, nobody at the Works gave any instructions to fit these horns underneath the apron, and LA.{L. A. Archer} assures me that the car left the Works with the horns fitted underneath the headlamps. The only instructions we had about the horns were to let Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} decide whether to remove them from his old car, or fit new ones, the latter course was adopted. If standard horns have got to be fitted as well as the Mellotone, there will be a certain amount of complication of wiring and switching.
