-4- Instrument Board. Plywood board with veneered face, as shewn on D.75250. All extra switches to have flangeless mounting and to be marked by an identification plate. The board must allow of the steering column being set in its highest adjustment position. Screen Wiper. Dual Klaxon electrical screen wiper of 140° angle of wipe. Motor mounted on off-side face of dashboard on R.R.bracket. Screen rail capping to be cut up between the wiper boxes to give greatest ease of vision for the instruments. Front Wings. Front wings to be of steel of S.W.G.20, mounted on the front wing stay and to the bonnet rest strip and the front end of the running board only. Wing shape and clearances to drawing supplied. Stone shields to be bolted in position. All joints between sheet metal and metal to have insulating strip 1/16th.ins.thick. Horizontal mudlip to have vertical downward lip on inner edge ¼" deep. Steps. Steps to be constructed of sheet aluminium S.W.G.14 with light wooden board beneath. Tread to consist of rubber strips of the new small section in stainless steel channels. Rear Wings. Rear wings to be of sheet aluminium, S.W.G.16, bolted to the body only. Stone shield to be bolted in position. Mudlip as for front wings. Back Light. Backlight to be of toughened Triplex, 3/16ths.ins.thick. Rear blind to be concealed. Flush fitting control to be fitted in the offside cantrail beside the driver. Direction Indicators. Direction indicators to be concealed in the centre pillar, and of latest pattern. Timed control switch to be mounted centrally in the screen rail capping. Contd: | ||
