| -3- Rear Seat. Cushion and Squab to be of springs with Latex and padded overlay; compressed dimensions to be to drawing LeC 4263. Seat base to be of swaged sheet steel (S.W.G.22) to design. Rear squab to be detachable to permit the removal of the battery. Folding centre arm rest and fixed side arm rests containing ash trays. P.W. square trimming - plain. Front Seats. Park Ward Bentley Light Type construction sliding bucket seats to dimensions given on LeC 4263. Cushions and squabs of spring cases with Latex and padded overlay. P.W. square trimming.- plain. Sliding mechanism Leveroll latest type, runners to be on body bottom sides and central tunnel. Underside of seat base to be 24" above the normal floor level. Luggage Boot. Outer lid{A. J. Lidsey} to be of lightened construction and closed by means of a dual Silent Travel Lock operated by two flush fitting handles with one private lock. Water and dust exclusion to be achieved by a metal edge on the lid{A. J. Lidsey} bedding into a channel filled with sponge rubber. Inner lid{A. J. Lidsey} to be of lightened construction preferably all in aluminium, and locked by two flush handles, or a waterproof blind. Floor to be covered with rubber, with trap doors for access to the rear axle, the petrol tank fittings, and the tail lamp. Tools of seldom use to be housed in top of luggage boot. Tail Lamp, Number-plate, etc. Gallay Rear Number Plate with white illuminated letters and a red insert as tail lamp at each end of the plate. Separate stop and reverse lamps. The reverse lamp to take a 3 amp. headlamp bulb, and to have a mauve warning lamp on the instrument board. Scuttle Attachment. Body and dash rigidly attached as in LeC 4526. Contd. | ||
