-5- Interior Woodwork. Walnut veneered. Window fillets to be of the solid type with rounded corners. Door finishers to be the Park Ward Sports Type. Visors and Mirror. Two Beatonson Roll visors with interior shield, with interior driving mirror of plain glass. Head Interior. Head cloth not to be cut up behind sunshine roof boxing. Two flush fitting and flangeless roof lamps one each side of rear seat, with switch in offside centre pillar. Carpet. Hair carpet to the whole floor that will no moult. Leather pad for heel of driver's right leg. Scuttle Rail Light. Recessed lamp in scuttle rail to be operated by a push-pull switch on the instrument board. Scuttle Ventilation. Dummy louvres on side of scuttle and bonnet to LeC 4529. Top scuttle ventilator operated by a screwed handle. Ventilator opening rearwards and provided with a tray. Anti-Noise Treatment. Chassis. Dashboard - ¼" felt stuck on, and covered with sheet fibre, held on by split pins. Chassis Floor and Foot-boards.- Aluminium boards as on LeC 3923 with the rubber top coating. Carpet to be bound on to the top of a mat consisting of ¼" felt, the felt to be protected on the underside by means of a sheet of cloth. The whole will be leather bound on the edges. Body. Body Panels, Scuttle, Door and Boot Panels.- All the panels to be lined with felt ¼ in. thick stuck on, with the exception of the door panels, which should be treated with Silento felt of standard thickness if this water-proof, or failing that, some sort of anti-drumming cement. The walls and roof of the boot may be lined finally with leather cloth, and the floor with linoleum or rubber matting. Contd. | ||
