r 4004. To BY, from ROY{Sir Henry Royce} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to RG{Mr Rowledge} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ------------ ROY{Sir Henry Royce}2/MG13.6.32 ------------ We were discussing the possibility of using our own Alloy, i.e. RR-50, in place of the present standard "Y" Alloy for Pistons, and you were writing the Air Board authorities for permission. I take it for granted that if we obtain this permission it will apply to all the Pistons we use, i.e. Buzzard, Kestrel, etc. Meantime could you do anything further to urge a decision on the point, as we are now wanting to put more Pistons in hand.
