X7520 To Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} C. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} 40/50 CHASSIS FRONT AXLE CONTROL. We have experienced several cases where slack in a fore and aft direction, has developed at the bottom of the triangular bracket. This is particularly noticeable with the J.III type dampers. We suggest that spring loading the pivot between the axle and the triangular bracket would overcome the trouble. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} | ||
