I have arranged cover of box with double oil retaining device that we arranged for 4 speed box at draw bore. If we do not adapt this double retaining device we could increase the length of propeller shaft .800" in each of designs shown in Figs 1 & 2 FIG1 In this scheme I have arranged to use up extra space by increasing the length of the propeller shaft .750 if we do not use double oil retaining scheme this figure would be increased to 1.550. To transmit the drive in this scheme I propose 8 taper bolts .375" dia but screwed 5/16 Signed This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work R | ||
