561 N/W. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c - D/BP. Br/G25/G.17-10-38. re. Chassis No. GLG-14. Lady Sassoon. We have just had this car here for decarbonisation. The Customer arranged to supply her own oil, and sent up two gallons of a lubricant which is known as 'Macmillan Ring-free Motor Oil' Viscosity - SAE-40. We saved about a quart, and are arranging to send it for you to see. It appears that Lady Sassoon is proposing to use it in the future. It is the first time we have seen or heard of it here, and we shall be glad to have your views about it. From the Container, it seems that the oil is refined by the Macmillan Corporation - U.S.A. Will BP please hand it over to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} immediately upon receipt. Br/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} [illegible signature] | ||
