RE HYDRAULIC JACKS FOR PHANTOM 2.

The C.S.C. are anxious to have a hydraulic jack to offer to customers and they have asked me to take the matter up. They have been trying to get one and have not been successful. The last one sent to you to test was the Skyhi. We believe that you said that you liked this jack but it had not sufficient lift.
In a letter from HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/ACL. you give the following as your requirements, to the best of our knowledge.

Min. Height. 6.500.ins.
Lift 7.500.ins.
Extension. 2.000.ins.

On examining the drawings of the front axle we do not seem to see why these figures are necessary. We are assuming 20.ins. rims and 7.000ins tyres.
We have asked for a jack having the following:-

Min. height. 6.000ins.
Lift 6.750.ins.
Extension 2.000.ins.

Would you kindly tell by return if, and why these figures are wrong.
To make it possible to construct a jack it is up to us to let the initial height be as large as we possibly can and to do with as little extension as possible. By extension we mean hydraulic extension or lift.. The screw extension of two inches offers no difficulties.

Whilst on this subject, what are the requirements of the 20/25. HP. chassis, as we presume that a jack will be needed for that also.
