Contd. -2- EFC2/T3.11.21. took place by one of the cells cracking and starting to leak electrolyte, otherwise, as far as we can tell, the battery has received little damage by this mechanical treatment. We have not opened up this battery ourselves, to see the effect on the separators, but have returned it to the makers for this purpose, who have provided us with a new battery similar to this, in place of it, and will no doubt provide us with a report on the condition of the separators.
