1280 EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std.31/JH. 26th. October, 1938. John Marston Ltd., WOLVERHAMPTON. For the attention of Mr.Dunn. Dear Sirs, Further to the writers visit today in which various defects on the last B.III radiator supplied were pointed out, one point was overlooked. The starting handle bearing shutter trap which was fitted to the radiator shutter assembly, and which has to be opened in order to allow the starting handle to be inserted fouls the radiator shell lower edge with the result that the starting handle cannot be used. Will you please correct this at the same time as you are altering the lower position of the shell. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE L | ||
