To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Mr. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} re Peregrine and Bensport. Handwritten text: H3, X4027, X4027, X4523 I hope that we have now definitely decided to the satis-faction of all concerned exactly what the bore and stroke of these are going to be. I gather that both are to have a bore of .275 and a stroke of 4", the only difference from the original intention being a reduction of .125 on the stroke. Would you please let me know what the cc. will be. It is a pity that this alteration has had to be made seeing that we have just managed to get the first Peregrine made but I gather from your E4/EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}5.7.32 that both you and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} are satisfied that the performance of the Peregrine will not suffer. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
