1200. To HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}, from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/RH.{R. Hollingworth} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/MH.{M. Huckerby}14.3.40. In view of the increasing difficulty in obtaining supplies of material, we suggest that as far as possible quantities should be increased to cover all possible contingencies. In other words, we feel that the disadvantage of ordering too many of a part will more than outweigh the possible risk of scrap due to this piece being redundant. Will you please, therefore, arrange accordingly. We should be pleased to give a decision in any case of doubt. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
