YOUR REFERENCE Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.3/AD. OUR REFERENCE CHB/2. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. 4th January, 1932. Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your letter of the 1st and very much regret to have to advise you that it will not be possible for our Mr. Preston to see you on Wednesday of this week, as he is at present away unwell, and we cannot say at the moment as to when he will return. We are hopeful that this will be at the end of this week or early next week, but immediately we have any definite information we will write you further. Regarding the first paragraph of your letter, we can only assume that our Representative Mr. Knight was not familiar with the conditions under which your battery has to work, and we should say that the same remarks can be made in connection with the other Battery Manufacturers. We are hopeful however, that when Mr. Preston sees you it will be possible for us to arrive at a definite proposal which will get over the trouble in the future. Yours faithfully, PRITCHETT & GOLD AND E.P.S. COMPANY LIMITED. WST | ||
