Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter of the 31st ult. ref. CHB/RW, we are afraid that we are getting very confused in the whole matter. Firstly your representative Mr. Knight stated that 12 mm. positive plates would give us much longer life and we have also received similar assurances from two other large battery manufacturers. We hope, therefore, that you will be able very soon to arrive at a definite proposal for us.

With reference to the visit of your Mr. Preston to our Works, we would suggest that Wednesday the 6th inst. would be the most suitable and we should be glad if you will confirm the appointment on this date.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
