To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} 1113 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} - Cricklewood, 27.5.37. Phantom II Valve Gear. We are trying out for valve noise lightened exhaust valves. To do this it is necessary to alter the valve guide to suit. Would you please put through 3 doz. E.85506 guides with the bore to drawing E.80298. This means we require the E.85506 guide but with a smaller bore. We are anxious to try this scheme out as soon as possible, please reply.
