(7) EXHAUST BOOMS AND VIBRATIONS. (Refer CWB2/LH {Mr Haworth} 6.10.25).
The question of a different scheme of exhaust pipe with expandable joint similarly as used on the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I car is a feature receiving consideration.

(8) TAPPETS NOISY. (Refer to CWB2/LH {Mr Haworth} 6.10.25).

(9) OIL PRESSURE FAILURES (Refer CWB2/LH {Mr Haworth} 6.10.25).
This point is having Experimental Dept. attention.

(10) ENGINE GEAR NOISE AND DYNAMO DRIVE RATTLE. (CWB2/LH {Mr Haworth} 6.10.25).
This matter is receiving every possible attention from the Production, Experimental and Design Depts. and is at present one of the chief causes of delay and expense on 20 H.P. chassis production.
Handwritten note: Tests in hand.

(11) OIL LEAKS FROM PROPELLER SHAFT UNIVERSAL JOINT. (Refer CWB2/LH {Mr Haworth} 6.10.25).
It is now considered that the new instructions re lubrication of this joint overcome this trouble. Is this agreed?
Handwritten note: We are working to new instructions on 10 G-Th. cannot say we agree O.K until test completed.

(12) EXHAUST JOINT WASHERS BLOWING OUT. (Refer CWB2/LH {Mr Haworth} 6.10.25).
Agreed to and having the attention of the Experimental Dept.

(13) ENGINE VIBRATION AND ROUGHNESS. (Refer CWB2/LH {Mr Haworth} 6.10.25).
This is not considered a question of production but a question of design, and it is not considered that this feature is sufficiently bad to warrant any immediate alteration in this respect.
The chief attention at present is being based upon the slipper drive, which it is appreciated tends to become less effective when the car has been standing for some time. An improvement is definitely being arranged in this respect.
Retard vibrations. (See CWB2/LH {Mr Haworth} 6.10.25). This also is a question of design, but is not considered sufficiently bad in this respect to warrant immediate alteration, although it is a feature which is having Experimental Dept. attention.
Engine thuds, detonations and piston knocks.
These points were raised in connection with the 10,000 miles test on 9-G-3, but not considered serious as regards complaints in service.
Handwritten note: Tests in hand on the

(14) CLUTCH SQUEAKING: jagging and grabbing. (See CWB2/LH {Mr Haworth} 6.10.25)
This has been complained of on various occasions. It is now considered by the Works, generally speaking, as satisfactory, and no immediate alteration is being
