X.8797 - Thicker Armature Cover Plate for Watford Magnetos.

With reference to Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}17/T1.12.26 and EFC5/T2.12.26, I think it advisable to put on record that North & Sons have delivered to us in all 3 EO.6 type magnetos with the cast aluminium cover for armature and the modified pick-up, which is necessary in connection with same, and all 3 magnetos have been handed to Experimental Dept. The numbers of the magnetos are:-

89458, 89479 & 94225

The last-mentioned magneto (94225) arrived here towards the end of October and it occurs to me that said magneto would be more likely to demonstrate the improvement due to the thicker armature cover plate than magneto 89458 which was delivered to us towards the end of March last.
