ORIGINAL.

E3/029/1/21. 3

Owing to the difficulty of designing a sufficiently
flexible rear road spring which will at the same time, give
satisfactory axle control, Mr. Royce has decided to increase the
length of the rear road springs from 50" to 56". We send
you herewith drawing Loc. 1331 showing the modification it is
intended to make to the rear end of the side channel.
