Chassis - India. Referring to Byll/H20.2.25 and mine Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}3/NJ23.2.25, we are in receipt of a letter from Messrs. Thos. Firth & Sons Ltd. dated 27th ult. as follows:- "With further reference to the special clip "plates which we have asked Messrs. Woodhead & Sons "Ltd. to make, we have received today a sample from "them asking for our comments thereon. They state "also that the sample is not made from our material, "and we now enclose this sample as we should like to "have your remarks, and we would draw your attention "to the fact that the extension between the lugs is "1/4" short, taking it from the lug centres, and that "the tapered portion is approximately 1/8" short. We "are acknowledging Messrs. Woodhead's letter and point- "ing out these two items to them in our reply. We "shall be obliged if you will return this sample "together with your comments."
