Referring to mine Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}7/NJ3.3.25 and to By4/H4.3.25 and By3/H4.3.25, I send herewith (to By) a letter from Jonas Woodhead & Sons Ltd. dated 5th inst. regarding the new form of Clip Plate End, also a letter from Thos.Firth & Sons Ltd. dated 5th inst. regarding this matter and also the alteration of camber in the statically loaded position of the spring.

I shall be much obliged if By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will endeavour to let me have his replies to these two letters as early as possible today (Friday), as said replies may decide me that it is unnecessary to go to Woodheads tomorrow.
