"Goshawk 11" - Laminated Road Springs.

Upon receipt of Wor {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 's note ref.- Wor {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 5/M22.11.21, I wired Thos. Firth & Sons Ltd. to put in hand 13 ft. of Chrome Vanadium Spring Steel, 1-3/4" x 1-1/4" rectangular section, to make a dozen top plates.

They have acknowledged receipt of the telegram and state they have immediately entered an order for the steel.

I deem it necessary to send them a formal order for this and shall be much obliged if Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} will certify for this at foot of this note.

Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead}
