Firth & Sons Ltd. to put in hand 13 ft. of Chrome Vanadium Spring Steel, 1-3/4" x 1-1/4" rectangular section, to make a dozen top plates. They have acknowledged receipt of the telegram and state they have immediately entered an order for the steel. I deem it necessary to send them a formal order for this and shall be much obliged if Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} will certify for this at foot of this note.
