To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} V 960. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/MJ.20.7.31. GLN-60. It is proposed to submit this car to Sales as a model of the performance of the 25 HP. We therefore think that we should ensure that the normal working parts of the engine are in 100% condition. Will you therefore please measure up the cylinder bores, pistons, and examine the rings, carrying out the necessary work to put these items in 100% condition. Will you also please examine the main bearings. You already have a specification of the items which require altering from standard on this engine. We should like to have it on the test bed for a power curve before it is finally fitted to a chassis with its high lift rockers etc. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
