The readings taken are as follows: Temperatures Miles Air Oil Water 25 12° 75° 80° 50 11° 60° 74° 75 13° 40° 70° 100 13° 73° 78° The speed of the car was dropped when they came to the snow but it shows that we are now getting results nearer to our other cars than what we have experienced. On the other hand during the morning run, they had a clear course and during the all out speed for approx. 20 miles, the oil temp. reached 102° the average for the remaining mileage being 85° C. Therefore it is not the average that we have to provide for, but a burst of speed that can frequently be obtained on the Continent. GWH.{George W.
