BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} C. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X/7520 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M7.3.31. P. 2. SHOCK DAMPERS. X.7520. X.235. Herewith we send N. sch. 3251. shewing the spring loaded piston as instructed in R1/M24231. We shew an alternative method of making the piston which saves some weight, and may be slightly simpler. It will be seen that we are working on the bronze of the piston itself. If it is found necessary to fit pads it is evident that it can be done. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
