RR 239 (50 BKS.) (SH57. 29-6-20.) MP 224359 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To EFC. Order No. AC.44. Customer's No. X.4122 7. April 1925. Meuter Over-voltage Indicator. This instrument consists of a small lamp placed behind a red window and connected in series with a pair of contacts, each point of which is carried on a compound metal strip arranged to bend in the same direction on change of temperature. One strip carries a resistance winding adjusted so that on reaching a pre-determined voltage, the difference in temperature between the strips which it sets up, causes the contacts to close and light the lamp. The resistance is placed in parallel with the lamp and contact, permanently across the dynamo terminals. (Cont'd) Signed This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
