Dear Mr. Daniell,

We send you herewith a layout of the two axles which we require.

We are interested in having the "Rippletto" axle first so our suggestion is that if you have no facilities for making the parts here you might agree to getting the axle produced complete in the States, in which case we should want to order 3 of the "Rippletto" type which, as far as we are concerned, would prove the design basically for the "Myth". We should at a later date want one "Myth".

We are, of course, extremely interested in price, and you promised to give us some sort of figure. One basic figure would be the cost of this axle fabricated in the States and shipped over here duty paid. This would be a maximum figure which presumably you would expect to beat if you were to get the business.

We are very anxious to go ahead with this job and definitely get these axles running about, and should therefore be glad of your co-operation.

Yours sincerely,
