This control depending on temperature allows the Generator to charge at a high rate when cold and at lower rates when warmer, thus if the starting motor is frequently operated the Generator being cold charges at a high rate each time for a short time.

Conversely if the starting is infrequent and lengthy runs are made the Generator warms up and reduces its charge.

The same automatic control also takes care of demands on the Battery due to different temperatures of seams and climates where starting is more difficult in cold weather and where lights are usually burnt more frequently.

In other words this controls approximates very nearly to the voltage regulator results.

We look forward to heating further from you reg arding this and will be pleased to visit you in Derby hould you desire us to do so.

Will you also advise us whether you would like us to cable you a samplr.

We are,
Yours faithfully,

(Sgd.) W Kenington

Consulting Engineer.
