RE BIJUR DYNAMO
Taken from 49-GB for W.W.

This dynamo has been removed from chassis 49-GB for the purpose of setting up the various resistances etc., for making this suitable for your use at W.W. In the case of this dynamo the regulator and cut-out is contained in the dynamo casing, and it would be a more fiddling job than in the case of Packard Bijur to set up the necessary resistance and make the connections to this regulator inside the casing. We think you might like to have the regulator and resistance neatly set up in a separate box as a separate unit, so that at any time you can observe or adjust the regulation. Will you kindly say if you would like to have it this way, as it would make it very much easier for us to arrange ?

Talking of vibrator regulator control, we might mention that Mr. Young of the B.T.H.Co., was here yesterday, and he says that his Company would welcome the idea of making us up a shunt wound dynamo with a regulator of this type. They have had considerable experience with the Tyrell regulator of this type, as applied to larger machines, and Mr. Young says that they can make us up a very neat little dynamo and regulator of this type. We are, therefore, proposing to send his Company all particulars regarding this W.W.
