X607 c. to EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} c. to D.BP. EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} /CEP9/EC10.2.23. RE. EXIDE BATTERY - CHASSIS NO.15-FW. Replying to Shipping Office memo' D {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} /BP/HF {H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector} 6/B9.2.23. According to our records the battery on the above car is the original one supplied and we presume it is one of the old pattern, having no ebonite seperators fitted. This car was finally tested 21.12.20 and from this date, we can assume the battery was put into service. Up to date, this battery has therefore had over 2 years service, and with our past experience with these old pattern Exide batteries we are not surprised to hear that this particular battery requires re-conditioning. We leave the matter to Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} to draft a suitable note on the above data, to D.BP. for forwarding to this customer. EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} | ||
