PHANTOM III ENGINE GEAR FRONT. In order to dismantle the Timing Gears or Slipper Drive on the Phantom III engines it is necessary to lower the bottom half in order to get the Slipper Flywheel to pass the bottom half. If the front end could be designed on similar lines to the 25/30 HP. it would make a better joint face as well as saving time in dismantling and erecting for Timing Gears both on engine gear quietening and in the Test Dept. We shall be glad if you will give this matter your consideration. Sft{Mr Swift}/AEM. [signature] | ||
