EXPERIMENTAL REPORT.

-3- Expl. No. REF: 14.10.25.

(9) GEARBOX.
The original instructions was for a 3-speed gearbox to Lec.1677-9. Whilst the details for the box were finished the design for Servo and engine coupling was never completed. We have therefore adapted an EAC.11 gearbox with change speed mechanism carried off box. To do this it was necessary to modify both cross members carrying the gearbox. The rear crossmember has been bent to accomodate the front coupling of propeller shaft. The forward gearbox member is the same as originally instructed but moved nearer to the dashboard.

(10) ENGINE COUPLING.
'V' series fabric type coupling.

(11) PEDALS.
No instructions were ever issued for 'D' type pedals. Certain information was sent through from W.W. for 'B' type. We have, however, arranged to bring in a complete set of the present standard Lic. pedals.

(12) BRAKE COUNTERSHAFTS.
We have arranged all standard countershafts in the same relative position as on present chassis.

(13) PROPELLER SHAFT.
EAC.1. propeller shaft in accordance with N.schs. 1441/2.

(14) UNDERSHIELDS.
We shall follow the lines of the present standard undershield for this chassis.

(15) DASHBOARD.
Dashboard will be in accordance with N.S.1450.

(16) WIRING.
The wiring will be carried out on the lines of the present standard.

(17) STARTER MOTOR.
Starter motor will be the present gearbox type in place of EAC.1. flywheel type.
