The specification of the iron used is SS.{S. Smith}931, and the rings are heat formed. 2. The En value is 23 x 10⁶ lbs. 3. The increase in price would be 2d. per ring, this increasing the unit price of the complete piston assembly by this amount in the quantities in which you usually order.
