SALES DIRECTOR'S OFFICE. 26th September, 1935. Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY. Attention of Mr. J.C.Bowering. Dear Sirs, JACKALLS 21-G-IV. We acknowledge receipt of your letter dated the 24th September, Ref. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}5/KW., and are most disappointed to learn that the Jacking system fitted to the above has shewn certain weaknesses, especially as this new system is tremendously in advance of the earlier design which, as you know, has been quite satisfactory - in fact, we are supplying quite 2,000 sets per week with practically no troubles. We are most anxious to investigate the cause of failure and would like to send our Fitting Manager - Mr.Bailey - along just as soon as it is convenient to you - we understand that you will very kindly suggest a day and time for this purpose. With renewed regrets. Yours faithfully, For S.SMITH & SONS (Motor Accessories) LTD., [Signature] SALES DIRECTOR. | ||
